Positives:
Location close to Interstate 10. Spacious room, good bed/bathroom. Plenty of parking.. Breakfast a little above average. Nice pool area. Perhaps a little overpriced.

The interior refurbished areas were exceptionally nice. Staff was nice and helpful. Great breakfast.
Negatives:
The exterior of hotel was not well maintained. The grounds as you entered were in need of weeding, watering of grass/plants, and some litter needed to be picked up. The guest entry into the hotel from parking lot was very dirty, trash can overflowing by entry door, door glass dirty, and walkways in need of a good power wash. The overflowing trash can was not addressed until I spoke to front desk on the 3rd day of our stay. It was full again by next morning and still was not emptied on the 4th day f our stay at checkout.

The outside of the hotel was unkept, the hallway smelled like feces, the bathroom had paint peeling off the wall and part of the wall was plastered. There was a folded towel that was dirty and crusty.

Room was spacious and clean. The included Breakfast was fantastic. The strawberries were massive!
Negatives:
We booked through booking.com and there was an issue with payment from the 3rd party. Instead of the hotel sorting this out I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone to the 3rd party trying to resolve the issue so we could check in. My payment had gone through but the payment between the 3rd and hotel hadn’t worked. I think the hotel staff could have been more helpful with this issue instead of just saying it was my responsible to resolve before we checked in.
