cleaning and poor service
Looked like a prison
It was clean
The room was very basic when we arrived and was given a key we went to our room to find someone already staying in there ! When we told the reception they had no idea the room was already taken ! We were given another room
Had no breakfast
My keys were not working twice because if office personnel thought I had checked out twice. Also the bathroom sink was clogged all the time I stayed there new fixed. Disappointed and non cleanless unsanitary.
Not quite what I expected...
We were on a three day bicycle trip and the hotel was close to the Tucson Loop.
The hotel was dirty. Our floor was very dirty and sticky in areas.
We specifically asked for a non smoking room, but the room reeked of stale cigarette smoke that never decreased.
The bed was very uncomfortable.
The refrigerator door only opened a couple of inches and then stuck.
Both morning's there were 4-5 police cars in the parking lot because of drug raid and guest problem.
It was very unnerving.
Overall, a very bad experience.
Overall, it was a a...
Room was ready. Seemed clean. Might have been fairly quiet had I stayed. Desk clerk was okay, and he refunded my money after all the events below.
I am pretty basic in my needs for a hotel. I am a guy and not super intimidated. I just basically need quite room with a bed, desk, TV and bathroom. This place, however, even made me nervous. Basically, my impression was that this was a crack hotel. As I was checking in ther was some lady who interrupted and went on and on about how her mom didn't show up with the $$, so she was going to leave and was the desk clerk okay with her coming back?
1. Card key lock on door was inop. Door opened without card key, which I didn't realize until I had left to get dinner and come back. All my stuff was in the room.
2. Hotel door interior safety lock was broken and inoperable.
3. When I came back from getting dinner, there was a guy with a pit bull in the hallway in front of my room, apparently trying to go to his room. Skinny guy, def drug culture, and he could BARELY hold the dog back from attacking me. I am not normally intimidated by dogs at all, but this was an obvious fighting dog. I had to exit the other door. This guy had come up the back stairs, apparently had a room near mine that he was keeping the dog in, and the desk clerk didn't know anything about it.
4. When I went to call the front desk to let him know, the house phone did not work.
This area is a desolate, pretty seedy area: abandoned restaurant next door, seedy downtrodden neighborhood, construction dumpster in parking lot, guy working on his car doing major repairs in the parking lot. This hotel is one offramp/ a few miles away from a nicer area.
Basically I could envision a long night of listenting to drug deals going down and a barking freaking pit bull who was a fighting dog, After explainting all this to the desk clerk, he refunded my $$ and I went to another hotel. The second hotel was simply a comfort inn. Nice, When I told the desk clerk where I had just come from, her eyes got big and she said "Oh, the Crack Hotel?!
YIKES. Crack Hotel.
