I read the reviews saying people were disappointed and the hotel has been saying they were under construction for the last couple years. so I gave it a try hoping they were done with remodeling. doesn’t look like they did any remodeling to me. the parking lot was also in terrible condition. the ceiling tiles were caving in. I guess this was very disappointing.

Positives:
The checkin attendant was nice but spoke very low and I will say it was a very quiet night when we stayed here.
Negatives:
1.) lots and lots of pot holes in the parking lot
2.) everything seemed like it had a haze of dirt covering it.
3.) outside appearance of hotel was very tacky. it looked like they were attempting a remodel because their were wooden boards and trash just piled up in once corner of the parking lot near the main walk area.
4.) My room was upstairs and the stairs looked like a safety joke. Not to mention how broken the stairs looked and bird crap covering the rails.
5.) random dogs running around without a leash on.
6.) one room didn’t have a full door. it looked as though someone cut off part of the door so there was a big hole just in the door straight into the room.
Issues with the rooms
1.) multiple lamps didn’t work
2.) while my room has been partially renovated the tv only had 1 channel you could watch and when you did change the channel it would take you to 6 different PBS channels.
3.) there was no top lock on my hotel room door it had been broken off or something.
4.) bath tub was absolutely disgusting in both rooms.
5.) while my dad got 2 regular bath towels and a hand towel in his room. I only got 1 bath towel, a hand towel, and wash rag.
6.) mini fridge had rust all over and was beaten up.
7.) the floor was disgusting, I made the mistake of walking to the bathroom I’m the middle of the night without my slippers and when I was putting on my socks in the morning I noticed the balls of my feet were black. GROSS.
8.) Dad had cockroaches in his room.
I’m sure there’s more but you get the drift. This place wasn’t a good place to stay the night. I’d only recommend it if you had little money and no other choice. PS I had taken photos on my original review but decided to wait till the next day after we left this place to leave it not realizing the photos I took using the app weren’t in my actual camera roll.
