Positives:
As a base for Disneyland this was a good choice. It was an acceptable walk for young kids 7+ and the rooms were new, clean and beds very comfortable. Quiet aircon that worked well. Breakfast had some health options which we were looking for (fresh fruit and unsweetened yoghurt) Pool is clean and pleasant. Hotel rooms are quiet. Based on several other hotels we stayed at in the US, we thought this was relatively spacious and well fit out and extremely clean.
Negatives:
Reception staff seemed disengaged which is a shame when you're bringing kids across the globe to the Happiest Place on earth. A little magic would be nice. Coming off a long flight we just needed a little welcoming. We'd asked for a recommendation on what to do the evening and were steered away from Disneyland downtown towards another mall. Not great advice - go straight to downtown and get into the magic. We wasted 90 mins and walked extra kms going elsewhere. Frustrating.
Bathroom light is on a sensor which is in theory a good idea but not when it lights up so brightly in the middle of the night before the door is shut. If youre up and down through the night this might be annoying.

The hotel felt brand new! Very clean, friendly staff, and great location. We visited during Halloween season and the decorations in the lobby were a nice touch. The breakfast was also very good.
Negatives:
The pullout bed and bunk beds were not comfortable at all! The pullout bed was noisy and the mattress was very thin. It was also a bummer that breakfast didn't start till 7:00am. For people wanting to rope drop Disneyland and get to the park early, 7:00am was too late. Other hotels have breakfast starting at 6:30am.
