Might miss the turn if you’re going too fast, but located right off the freeway and it was conveniently close to tons of fast food, restaurant’s, stores and gas stations.
Room and hotel itself are outdated but maintained. But you get what you pay for essentially. The gentleman who greeted us upon arrival was wonderful! He was so friendly and informative’

Very nice property, and the room was large, clean and comfortable. About 8 minutes away from the fairgrounds. 24 hr coffee access was great.

No outlet to plug in and charge devices by the bed. The breakfast was only small packaged danishes, apples, and packages of oatmeal.

The buildings and grounds are in disrepair. Broken and missing tiles in the bathroom. Black mold around the tub and sink, most of the exterior of the building is rotting away. The entire build interior and exterior is in poor condition.
This will be the last time we book at a Wyndham property. We have experienced better accommodation’s in some 2nd world countries.

This is obviously a converted motel to Super 8, but I'm glad it was taken over by the Wyndham group. They demand friendly staff and an enjoyable stay. Super 8 has been my "go to" for decades, and I liked this motel. The breakfast was the usual cereal, pastries, and waffle maker. The pool seemed nice, but I didn't get a chance to use it. The location is just east of the central old town Auburn, but has most of the fast food and other restaurants at this exit. The Mexican restaurant across the freeway was definitely worth the stop. One thing to note is that this is one of the ONLY hotels/motels in the ENTIRE Sacramento - Nevada I-80 corridor that was rated Good+.

I was debating whether to mention this, but I have to. And I've already let Wyndham know in their own customer satisfaction survey, so I assume they're taking care of it. However, we had to battle a few roaches each morning on the sink and in the bathroom. Bugs happen. Not an infestation, and not anything that would prevent me from booking again. They were just after the water. We also had a 4-hour power outage (not their fault) courtesy PG&E during a 98-degree day that killed power to most of Auburn.

Upstairs people were so loud, couldn't sleep, could barely hear the TV because they acted like animals when they walked sound like they were running and throwing stuff on the floor, called office but I doubt they did anything about it because it went on for 2 days.
