There were bedbugs in my room that I only recognized on my second night when I woke up at 3am feeling itchy all over. I turned on the lights and checked the sheets to discover bed bugs all around the edges.
I notified the night staff who simply told me he could not do anything until a manager arrived in the morning. At 6:30am, I was contacted from the front desk and told that they have another room available for me to use but offered no apology, no refunds or anything until I asked for it. When I asked about further compensation for the medication I was going to need to treat the bites, the manager told me that "We would pay you something but we cannot as you booked through a 3rd party booking company." Which to be honest I don't think matters toward compensation.
I am a professional athlete who needed to compete that day but was completely inhibited from performing due to hardly sleeping at all that night and having severely itchy bedbug bites all over my body.
They said they would call an exterminator and report back to me afterwards but I have not received any report and honestly suspect whether they have addressed the infestation at all.

Booked and paid for the pet room online and on arrival found out I had to pay $40 more for the pets, plus $165 deposit for the room. Room deposit should have been disclosed on the app site. Maid woke us up, knocking on the door at 7:15 am. to see if we needed anything.
