The fact that the room was not finished when we walked in. And that there was a few other guests drinking and partying till 230 am. When I called the desk. The guy that answered the phone was very rude. He said this is a motel what do you want me to do.

The attitude, profiling and discrimination of the employee behind the counter when I arrived.
Booked a king smoking room. Did not get one. An employee called to tell me that they are extremely booked for the night and confirmed (was seeing if id like to cancel) after he stated my confirmed reservation could not be honored ... And proceeded to insist not once, or reiterate second time.... 4X , that I don't have guests, visitors, party, increased traffic...
Clearly we have a bigger issue now.
The room had no microwave, refrigerator or blow dryer ( as set on reservation)
Door was broken leading to the balcony
Water in bathroom/shower leaks

Positives:
Bed was comfortable and TV worked. Night staff friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
Stairway to room had very shaky railings. Room was dated and a little grubby. Hair in bath. Wet towels in cupboard under sink. Initial reception staff a little underwhelming. Old aircon, really noisy.dated and grubby furnishings, sink area marked and not properly cleaned.
Pool area untidy and not well maintained.
