Baymont by Wyndham Barstow Historic Route 66

Negatives: The frig did not cool sufficiently.

Negatives: Couldnt take a shower. The shower head was mounted too low and the swivel mount was broken making it impossible to shower. Also the dead bolt could not be latched. Soap dispenser leaked all over the counter.

Negatives: Breakfast was poor. The place needed a deep cleaning, pool was downright green.

Negatives: No elevator had to haul luggage up stairs, had trouble plugging in fridge + microwave , Very small room very high price and the fridge was so loud all night it was annoying I had a headache all the next day plus I have no idea when I will have my $25 deposit returned!

Negatives: Discriminatory and bias Treatment was told when I called if I used a credit card it was a $25 deposit, when I arrived African American and alone disabled I was told I needed to pay $250 deposit because my drivers license PO Box stated I lived in a close by city ( It was a PO Box on my address nobody lives at a PO Box) the. I was told its considered local and other people had done things and so therefore I was to be discriminated and punished against because of them irregardless of this hotel violating my ADA rights. I had booked a disabled room, I am Wyndham member and Booking.com member of many years with no history of damaging rooms. I was appalled by showing up African American and being told different amounts. Then I was told I couldnt stay at all no locals allowed. There is no policy regarding this posted on the booking sight. I took pictures this policy not posted on the property. This clear cut discrimination

Negatives: Breakfast was an abysmal failure, before Covid we stayed here, and it was decent enough, but now can only be described as a gustative disappointment.

Negatives: Lower floor smelled musty and like mildew. Vacuuming took place outside my room for multiple hours. Keycards took multiple attempts to work. No elevator.
