The check-in process was a breeze, and I loved the complimentary breakfast and free parking garage. Having an elevator directly to the hotel from the garage made handling luggage incredibly easy.
Negatives:
Unfortunately, the hotel's decor and amenities felt very dated. The beds were not very comfortable, and the lighting in the room was dim and insufficient. The most unusual part of our stay was the checkout process. We were greeted not by a person, but by a computer screen where a remote worker assisted us. Although the checkout itself was simple, I found this remote-working arrangement to be an odd and impersonal way to end the stay.

That I had a confirmation for a king room and they put me in a twin room at first, So it was a couple of trips up and down with luggage. I was told they were sold out of king rooms but they had a cancellation and found us one after thirty minutes. What's made us late for our dinner reservation....Also check out.

Find this very impersonal, And was not able to receive a paper receipt for my records. Over all customer service was very poor.

My husband contacted staff and they have not returned his call regarding the mold in the room. This was a terrible stay and I will attach photos. It was definitely a health hazard but by the time we noticed everything it was too late to try and find a new room with a 4 year old and a 1 year old. We love Benicia and this was just extremely disappointing with no resolve or compensation for the disgusting conditions.
The staff while getting breakfast were extremely pleasant though. I did appreciate that.
