Polite, sympathetic staff. Nice linens. Very clean.
Attractive decor. Location in a high energy area very close to Berkeley campus where I went to law sc law school. Quiet room until 8:40.
Negatives:
Fire alarm went off several times beginning about 8:40 a.m. Extremely loud. Elevator stopped working 3 trips ip to/from 6th floor. Room quite small.

The HVAC panel above my head was held together with tape.

Stay elsewhere if you can afford to. An extra few blocks walking distance is worth it to stay in a better hotel
