Positives:
Property was nice but the rooms themselves I felt were not worth the money. Restaurant and bar were great. And good location

Positives:
We stayed two nights at the Calistoga Motor Lodge and we enjoyed it. The apartments are nice and the pool area is cozy.
Negatives:
At the check-in they charged us a deposit of $100 on our credit card, but it was not reversed upon check-out, even we left everything in good condition.
When we tried to contact the Lodge a few weeks later, our requests were always ignored. So be careful that you are not overcharged!

Positives:
The room was beautiful and incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax. The hot tub and pool were definite highlights, adding an extra level of luxury to the stay. The staff was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. To top it all off, the restaurant was fantastic with delicious food. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect getaway!

I had an amazing stay!
Positives:
Location was convenient to the event we were attending.
Negatives:
Room 119 did not feel clean with dirty stained carpeting. Checking in we were told there would be two reusable water bottles and two pool towels; there was neither in our room. Pool area was OK but not great. Expensive for the level of amenities provided.

Positives:
We enjoyed the Spa offering and outdoor space from the spa to relax. This was our favorite experience here.
Negatives:
I wish we were assigned a room in the 600 building. The "patio" we had in the 500 building was of overgrown weeds. We didn't spend any time out on the patio.
Hmm, a resort that doesn't have someone to help bring your bags to the room. Maybe this isn't a thing for all resorts?
Ample parking for hotel guests and Spa goers. You park your car and come/go as you wish.
The size of the 2 queen bed room is typical. The sheets on both queen beds in our room had human hair on the pillows and sheets when we pulled down the covers. So glad we checked! We showed it to housekeeping. We were asked if we wanted them changed. What tha.....YES of course! Not a good start to impression.
There is no luggage valet to lay the suit cases on. It's not something you'd want to put on your clean bed. We proped it on the 1 chair in the room and it was cumbersome. Alternative is lay it open on the floor. Gross. Nuff said.
The pools are not as the pictured, especially the mineral pool. Smal'ish! The pool area is not a big area. Also, the Jacuzzi was CLOSED all weekend.
NO staff coming out to keep the poolside tidy. By 6pm the pool area is a mess. Not a relaxing space. Used towels and pillows in disarray everywhere.
Don't bet on kids leaving the pool before 9:30PM so you can enjoy some quiet time poolside. They were literally screeaming with excitement and it's frigging 9PM. I am a mother, I love when my kids have fun but I DO NOT allow them to yell incessantly, disturbing the peace of everyone around them
.
I came here to relax. The mineral pool is nice and warm but the pool closes at 10pm. Had only 20 min of quiet in the THEM.
Food at Fleetwood is good. We had dinner and breakfast there. We were the only ones there at breakfast on a Saturday. Odd, but it was a great breakfast. Overall, though, the STAFF ARE GEMS!!! Calistoga Motor Log and Spa PLEASE take care of your staff. They make sure your guests are happy.

Positives:
Calistoga was a lovely place to stay and staff were friendly.
Negatives:
Looks absolutely nothing like the photos! Very dated, dark and dingy rooms and an a run down pool area. Our ice bucket and glasses were dirty. Carpet was stained and dusty and we definitely wouldn’t recommend looking too closely at the grout in the bathroom.

Positives:
Enjoyed my stay and the vintage room we stayed in. It was a last minute trip to the location and paid a high price because it turned out to be a popular place. I would go back, however I will look for a better price and time of year. It was very hot which is typical for this time of year.
Negatives:
The time of year was not what I liked. It was very hot outdoors and uncomfortable. Dry heat did make a difference. It was cooler in the shade. Our room was air-conditioned. The bath room was a big too vintage. Shower was small. Our room was a average vintage size. We did like it. It was very clean. However the price was not the best.
