Motel 6 Canoga Park

Negatives: This location is a homeless shelter. Half the parking lot and half of the establishment is dedicated to transients. Not sure if they would actually interfere with guests or not because I didn't want to chance having my tools and equipment stolen. We did not stay and canceled our reservation.

Negatives: The air conditioner didn't work. I also asked for a smoking room, was given a non-smoking room, and then was blacklisted from there for smoking in the room.

Negatives: Many homeless living in the motel. Staff was high

Negatives: The air conditioner did not work and the toilet was broken.

Negatives: The parking area around midnight when I checked in had people wandering through who seemed to be interested in what were in the parked cars. I had someone follow me to my room, but never addressed me. Around 3am there was knocking at my door..I called to the front desk but no one picked up. I looked through the peep hole and saw a male standing at the bottom of the stairs. There wasnt anymore knocking but an hour or so later the unit next to mine and the unit below were screaming at each other with no regard for anyone else. This particular Motel 6 is the worst one in the area, and has no visible security and seems to attract an unsavory crowd. They also overcharge, so any argument about value is not valid. There are several motels within 5-10 miles that are safer, cleaner and cheaper, so avoiding this place is recommended
