I went to the office on our first night as the railing to the office is broken badly, the cement around the rail are broken! Dangerous! and it was raining. The older man in the office was rude after I told him about the railing. We also booked 3 nights and had to move from our favorite room as someone else had book that particular room! missing our breakfast. Other than that the sun came out and saved our stay.

I don't think I have been more disappointed in a hotel before. The website made it sound so great but this place needed a paint job, care if the garden plus new mattresses and pillows. They made for a very uncomfortable night. The bathtub finish was off so we couldn't use that. I would rate this as the worst hotel I've stayed in since I was in my twenties and that's a long time ago. The personal was not rude but lacked any common courtesy.

We've already told a lot of friends not to ever set foot at that hotel. We live fairly close by and it's common for friends to visit Carmel for a weekend.
