I enjoyed it being very central to downtown Carmel, making it easy to walk and get to where we need to go
Negatives:
I’m a little surprised at the price given that the room accommodations we had and the size would suggest perhaps a lower price.
We didn’t have a lot of opportunities to utilize the breakfast options the hotel offered but I think we could’ve done without.
Parking is first come first serve and there’s very limited parking given the 2 hour street parking limit everyday.
Overall, it’s a quaint and nice stay.

Cozy and quaint, though a bit overpriced
Positives:
Room was beautiful, loved that it had a balcony and a separate mirror and. closet area from the bathroom.
Negatives:
Wasn't wild about the coffee maker. It was basically an espresso machine and it overflowed the cups provided and made a mess on the counter. Better to go to the lobby and get good coffee.

Location is great. Very close to all of the restaurants and shops. Nice quiet area. The views are great. The property and rooms are incredibly clean. The staff is amazing and kind.

I arrived late at night (10:30 PM) and my booked room was given away. There were no more two-queen-bed rooms available so I had to choose between two small rooms far apart from each other or one large room with one bed. I have children, so I picked the large one and ended up having to sleep on the floor. In addition to that, hotel hasn't enough parking spaces for all rooms, so I had to look for a park space on the street.

Hotel gave away my booked room without contacting me

The staff because they were friendly and inviting. Jewell was pleasant and informative. Ron went above and beyond making sure I had hot water for my tea-in the evening-bringing towels the maids forgot to leave as there were three of us. Thank you Jewell. Thank you Ron.
Negatives:
Maids had skipped some things; no toilet paper in bathroom, towels…minor details. Construction across the street started at 7a!!

Comfortable and welcoming staff.

Nice service at check in. Nice grounds and amenities like the hot tub, fire pit and fire place

TV was useless. It turned on but you could not get it off the Home Screen. Table lamp could not be turned off. So I had to get under the desk to unplug it. The room was not as advertised. It was okay but looked a lot nicer on booking.com. Also, at check in, we were promised fresh baked croissants for breakfast. The continental breakfast did not open until 7:30 am. A Bunch of guests were waiting for them to open. And there were no croissants. They appeared an hour later but they did not taste fresh baked.
