Tired decor. Very very brown.
Pool was shut due to landslide - but not advertised at time of booking.
Off all the hotels stayed at in a 2 week road this is the one we are least likely to return to.

If you get a room overlooking the Pacific youll love it . Bathrooms a little tired but the main rooms are really nice and beds really comfy.
Negatives:
The pool was closed which wasnt mentioned when we booked and the main restaurant was closed in the evening but bar food was available . You do need a car as there no public transport to get into main Carmel ( a ten min drive max ).
