Check-in and check-out took very short time. You can park the car right directly in front of the room. And the bed was good for a hardworking spine to fill in.

It took half hour to drive from San Diego downtown to here. The room is simple but just cozy like our expectation. The bathtub was terribly generating a pungent smell, while it was taking me nearly whole time to hold my breath during I was at bathroom.

I had a very good big room in a very good quality.
Negatives:
The only thing was the shower handle, it was difficult to adjust and cold water you could not really get.
It was always warm also on the handwash tab.

I like walking around the streets and talking to homeless people. The public transport bus and the MTS trolley system is great to get around the 18 cities here in San Diego county, CA. Try visiting one of the many churches while you are here. Pastor Howard Johnson.

First of all this is not safe area. homeless people, everyone is high, smoking weeds, dirty. I didn't feel safe and comfortable there. second, they charged me for "mysterious" damaged sheets. I stayed with my kids and they are grown up, we didn't do anything, just slept, woke up and left. no parties or something crazy, why would I damage sheets? I am normal woman with normal children, we even collected all garbage after us. this is ridiculous! no proofs of damaged sheets or something like that, just didn't return my security deposit fully. disgusting place, it looks like cheap and safe, but it is not. they will find the way to charge you.

Our room was so dirty when we arrived. Stains on the floors and walls, pubic hair on the bathroom floor, hair in the towels, the shower drain was sooooo clogged that it was like showering in a pool. We felt so uncomfortable sleeping there that we ended up getting another hotel for our stay. Would NOT recommend.
