Positives:
Housekeeping staffs and breakfast service team are welcoming and professional. Keeping everything clean and tidy. Front desk team is friendly and approachable except one lady I believe her name is Alex ( per other team member)? Never any eye contact, no greeting, no acknowledgment to all customers, male, female, white or not, day or night. Just looking down at her screen or desk. Perhaps she is extremely shy or self conscious. Or she doesn’t work at the front desk? Just strange. Overall it’s an excellent decent spacious accommodation with parking and soundproofing windows/doors for business travelers who need to spend weeks on the road.
Negatives:
I understand this Hyatt House is popular and accommodating customers’ preferences is not easy. But I had to try every single morning since Day one to get to the room I prefer. There is no initiation from the front desk. Secondly, I’m a dog lover and a long time dog owner. I love and respect hotel that accommodate dogs. However, when customers left their dog in the room and let the dog literally cried ( definitely not whining) for hours since 8am. That’s heartbreaking. Housekeeping team should have notified the front desk timely, not waited until our call for concern. I guess it would be excellent if this Hyatt House can refer customers to a Hyatt preferred dog day care facility, I’m sure customer will likely comply with the guideline not leaving his/her dog behind alone in the room if the dog suffered from separation anxiety ( confident or independent quiet dogs are ok).

I really loved staying at this hotel- it was honestly such a treat. The room was smartly designed and the staff were amazing. Fun little area with restaurants (conveyor belt sushi!) and coffee shops within walking distance. I considered switching my hotel for the remainder of my stay in the area because of the convenience, comfort and staff.
