Just one time I had an uncomfortable experience. I hung the tag showing that we were in the room. But one of the cleaning ladies( She was older and I don’t think it was her cleaning room) knocked on our door and opened the door, before I reached the door. She was startled when she saw me and quickly left! I don’t know why she tried to enter the room that had a tag hanging on the door knob?! This hotel has only I tag that says you are still in.

This hotel accepts pets as guest but there are no extra accomodations for the dogs. It would have been really nice to have an area for the dogs to potty on the property. There's no real area close to the hotel like a grassy area.
Also, the coffee station was floor level in the cabinet under the TV. Coffee is toxic to dogs.
The hotel is nice and the bed was comfortable but I wouldn't recommend it to friends traveling with dogs.

Close to destination (Colma funeral), breakfast was acceptable, noise level low (seems like good sound insulation)
Negatives:
First room smelled badly of dogs. We immediately requested another room. The second one was OK (smelled a bit musty, but OK and not like animals).
