Large, clean, comfortable room that was modern with nice quality bedding. Large bathroom, hairdryer, coffee, refrigerator, TV and balcony. Good location, nice pool area when the weather is good.

I was charged a smoking fee at Sonesta El Segundo . My boyfriend and I never smoked in the room but smoked outside . I asked the Assistant Manager Doreen for proof of smoking in the room , she proceeds to send me a picture of another rooms trash which had evidence of smoking . We didn’t eat any candy and they are falsely accusing and charging us the smoking fee ….. DO NOT stay there

The room was adequate, with comfortable beds.
Negatives:
We waited on the airport curb for hotel transportation about 30 minutes, around 9:45pm. The hotel desk confirmed transportation was running. The first van that pulled up was full, and the driver said to wait for the next.
My search filters included breakfast, which then included this hotel. There is NO breakfast provided. There is a coffee shop that sells some pastries, which opens after 7am.
As a merely adequate hotel, this was not worth the price we paid.
