Sonesta is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

The “coffee” in the room was horrid. The had two bottles of water with big tags on them $9 if you drank them. Not enough towels . Whoops I got the likes and dislikes mixed up

$10 Uber ride from Amtrak Emeryville and even though it is sandwiched between 2 busy roads. The bed was exceptionally comfortble and bathroom spacious. The staff at check in were genuinely lovely!
Negatives:
We booked for 3 and the sofa bed was not made up for us and only 2 towels. I dont know if this is an American thing, but no drinking glasses in the room, and none available through reception!

Convenient for Amtrak Emeryville
Positives:
My check in staff was friendly. I only stay at Sonesta’s and this was one of the nicer ones I’ve stayed at because of the open space, pool, and places to sit in the lobby, I like that there’s a small shopping center next door to pick up quick drinks or dinner
Negatives:
There was hair in the shower and garbage in the trash when we walked in. We were over charged on happy hour drinks. I left my pottery in my room, and I was told the cleaning staff didn’t find anything, but knowing how dirty the room was when I entered, I didn’t feel confident that they looked around much
