The hotel was perfectly comfortable for the price and in a location that felt central to the east side. We came from New York and the area was walkable by our standards. The room was clean and regular cleaning service was available.

The huge Tub!!

The ants, no TV, the staff's lack of care. My husband fell on the steps and hurt his ankle and back and staff did not care. He told the staff about the river of water running down the steps and that he fell they replied "how is everything else" he said There were ants in the bar and bathroom of our room. staff replied "Yep weather brings them in"! Very upset will not stay again or recommend!

Positives:
Upon check in, Nova and Pilar greeted us. They were so AWESOME and friendly, and made us feel special and welcome to the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable! We will definitely come back to stay. Breakfast was also great!

Loved the location. The easiness of checking in and checking out.

The room where I stayed was very noisy. The cleaning staff would be screaming to wash other at 7am and all the noise is amplified inside the rooms. The room I stayed at was next to ice machine and high traffic area so the constant noise thru the night made sleep very hard

Staff was very helpful and friendly, quiet and clean room. Love that it had a microwave and fridge in the room and breakfast was available for a fee. Love the courtyard that our room over looked. Lovely patio courtyard, has an old world charm. Very close to everything, easy access to bus stop in front of the hotel and two blocks away was metro subway access. We could take the metro bus to many sites, like LACMA, Peterson auto, Tar pits. Subway to Hollywood blvd. Great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and health food grocers like Erewhon and Lassen's.

Reasonable, clean and quiet and...
Positives:
I like that the hotel was close in proximity to what I visited for. There was a nice food/ Taco truck that was available Wednesday thru Monday parked exactly across the street, so that was a real good convenience. Laundry services inside and across the street as well. Walking distance Wendy's. Staff provided extra pillows when needed.
Negatives:
I didn't like that fact that late check out was $89 +tax for only an extra 30 minutes. When I tried to add a day to my reservation, I would have to pay another $200 deposit on top of the night stay( flight was leaning at 11pm that night). I was charged $5-$6 bucks to receive my amazon bag package at the front desk.
