Your facility could be the Taj Mahal, but if your cancellation policies are inflexible, you are not taking care of your customer. Why not charge a reasonable fee for a cancellation, like $50 or 25% of the room rate.
Forcing people to pay the entire room rate should be illegal. Travelers need flexibility. Period.

This was my fifth stay at Hyatt House within the past 12 months as we have family living nearby. I have stayed in different room configurations, as I've stayed here alone as well as with my husband and daughter. Each room has been well-maintained to a high standard, as well as thoughtfully equipped. The reception staff are welcoming, professional, and helpful. Whether I am traveling alone or with my family, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.
