La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buena Park

Negatives: Rooms need to be remodeled, ours smelled and had rips in the carpet. Toilet kept clogging and not flushing right.

Negatives: Two nights before checking in my wife asked about dog charges and was told $25 for 2 dogs per night. When we arrived we were told that the fee was $25 per dog per night ($150 total) Mold in shower. Hall carpet very dirty with mud, grime on white parts.

Negatives: There was a pervasive dog food smell throughout the hotel and into the room. Although it felt like a safe location we had to be buzzed into the lobby and the front desk was behind glass.

Negatives: No

Negatives: It looks like they put in a lot of renovations into the first floor, but the whole building didn't fit my usual La Quinta experience. The elevator button even shows an arrow pointing horizontally up and slightly to the left, which was kind of funny. The elevator had this weird clicking/popping noise when it approached a floor and would take a hot minute to open the doors. The rooms had a bad, musty smell. We thought opening windows would make it better and it did a little, but it was still not good. We had to keep our windows open to try to air out the room. My friend didn't find any bed bugs, but we still didn't feel like we were on the most clean of properties. Like I said - not on par with most of my La Quinta experiences, but we didn't have a do not disturb sign for our room and found out they don't clean the room during your stay unless you request. There were random things stuck to our popcorn ceiling like a piece of plastic wrap. The electric sockets don't always work - like our charging hubs as an example sparked when I plugged in my phone charger, and then it did not charge my phone very fast. The sockets don't hold plugs, it kinda hangs loosely from the sockets to where they fall out or don't charge if you don't have something to prop them up with. When we got in our room, the toilet still had pop particles in there (you know when you get most of the poo but you have to double-flush to get the bowl fully cleaned...yeah, that was the state it was left in when we got in. Also, beware that it's only one ply toilet paper. The towels were okay - not soft and a bit abrasive to dry with, but what I had the most issue with was the fact there was a long black hair in my towels. I have short dark brown hair, so I knew it wasn't mine but it was a bit gross. And also, one of our mattresses had a mattress protector and the other didn't.

Negatives: Yes my $ 75.00 deposit it take to long to getting back to my credit card two weeks and I havent credit to my account they talk me take 4 to 5 weeks

Negatives: Had to get maintenance up 3 or 4 times as bath wouldnt seal and hold water

Negatives: This is my 4th time staying a la quinta in this location and every time that I stay here I fell that the hotel looks more ran down, what I mean is that I thinks it needs a renovation so it can look more decent and also the other thing Is that I would be good to have housekeeping cleaning your room everyday of your stay. Thank you.
