The location to the beach was fantastic.
Negatives:
The room was very small for a family of 4. We were on the street side so noisy with traffic. We were in a room that had an adjoining room with a connecting door and it was very easy to hear the people next door - great if you are a bigger party, but not good if not. The bathroom is very tiny. The carpet felt dirty, I didn’t want to be in bare feet. It was fine for 1 night, bearable, but I would not recommend staying for anything longer unless you upgrade the room type.

Expensive, small room, noise of traffic on the street and next door room guests, old property, expensive parking. Pictures of the property on the app does not match what they give it to you and when I asked for an upgraded room to show me before doing reservation, they denied me. I went to a different hotel 14 W Laguna beach and for $15 more dollars I got a suite one bedroom king bed plus living room with sofa bed and fireplace and huge bathroom with jacuzzi, pretty building, great location, very quiet and beautiful pool. I would never recommend Pacific edge hotel

Positives:
I love the location and the friendly staff however, I was disappointed that the pool was not heated as my daughter celebrated her 3rd birthday at the hotel didn’t get a chance to go in the pool.
My family has been staying at your property for 30 years when it was Vacation Village and we have lots of great memories!
Negatives:
The big pool wasn't heated and we all were looking forward to swimming especially my daughter!

Perfect location. A block from the beach and less than a quarter mile to downtown. We walked everywhere from the hotel. But understand that there is a reason the hotel rate is lower than anywhere else with the same location. The building is rundown, the walls and floors are thin and the bed is not comfortable. We were in town for a wedding so did not expect to spend much time there. It was a fine stay for our purposes.
