Positives:
We arrived early and we were greeted by a very kind porter who took and stored our bags! We then were able to have breakfast, tour the ship on our own and with a guide, shop for souvenirs, play games and watch football. Check in is at 4:00 and our room was ready at 1:00 with no added costs!
The room is big and comfy but, the bath is
a little tight. All the restaurants on board are serving great food and we enjoyed them all.
The next morning we planed to walk over to Carnival Cruise Dock but, found they had a
shuttle to take us there! WOW!
The attention and accommodation’s given to us were incredible and so appreciated❤️
We had the best time ever on a wonderful, beautiful, nostalgic Ship!

It was just such an amazing experience. I heard keys jingling and whistling my last morning there around 5a.m. and the views from our room were surreal.

The original details from the era of when the ship was built. The museum pieces are accessible while wandering around. It's funny that the floor of the room is not leveled :D which gives it its charm.
Negatives:
During my stay the parking for guests was hard to access and very little space as it grounds were used to prepare for a festival. Chances were my car would be towed (it wasn't). When you arrive at the same time as a cruise ship is departing a large traffic jam will block the access to the hotel.

The Queen Mary is a grand old dame. She needs some love, so guests should adjust their expectations accordingly. Enjoy the nostalgia and novelty, prepare to pay extra for onboard dining, take time to explore the ship.
Negatives:
There was a music event on the pier that interfered with parking, and some onboard experiences were unavailable.
