Surprise $40 for valet parking - which is the only park option. There is no self parking option.

Great place to stay if you have business at UCLA. I really appreciated the complimentary Uber service to UCLA and Westwood Village. Super nice front desk staff. Restaurant is awesome, and and the bartender was so sweet and friendly. She made my stay!
Negatives:
Would like some kind of quick options for breakfast. Sometimes the cafe is closed - they have offered to open it up if needed but I don't want to be a bother. Would be nice to just be able to grab a hard boiled egg and coffee in the morning. Also would love to have some quick vending options for sodas, forgotten toiletries.

Positives:
The staff was racist, unhelpful, and very unrespectfull.
One of the maids threw away my car keys and ID to the garbage. When I went to the front desk to ask for help they did nothing saying "GM is not here we can't do anything". I had to call the police for the hotel to take action and send someone to look for them and could only found one of the keys.

A huge disappointment, $50 bucks...
Positives:
room size was good, quite overall room we were on the ninth floor. when you walk into the hotel it is beautiful and has an amazing smell.
Negatives:
once we got to our floor its gave a completely different vibe from the lobby, the beautiful smell was gone and it was gloomy, the room itself had an odd smell as well , we could not open the window, safe did not work either. the "best" was the black mold in the bath/shower grout - a bit disgusting. the shower gel/shampoo was also of a questionable quality. Bathtub is high... worked for us but might not be great for older people

Location and staff were wonderful—not stuffy, but friendly and kind! Location was perfect for a visit with our daughter in Brentwood.

Shower pressure could have been stronger. We were not crazy about Lemongrass soaps.

Positives:
Modern rooms and friendly staff. Close highway connection, which makes getting around by car relatively easy. Although not experienced myself, rooms on the top floors facing the city could offer some great views of LA.
Negatives:
Overpriced valet parking, with no real alternatives in the proximity so the hotel knows they can charge whatever price to add additional costs to the guests. With the close proximity of the 5-lane highway right next to the hotel, also comes the downside of constant noise pollution from it. Overpriced hotel restaurant for the amount and quality of food it is offering.
