The hotel was a good distance from our daily destination. Close enough for a reasonable commute & far enough from Hollywood to feel safe at night. Hotel felt totally new. It was clean, tasteful, and had a pleasant scent. Staff was friendly & helpful. Loved the robes, nice touch. Great taco place across the street with best tacos I’ve ever had! Whole Foods across the Avenue was super convenient. The hotel’s Parking garage was reasonably priced & gave us peace of mind with our rental car. Highly recommend!

We stayed here during our trip to Universal. The guy at the front desk was very knowledgeable about the park and gave us great tips and suggestions.
Only about 15 min drive to Universal. Very clean and comfortable.
Negatives:
The hotel is right next to 101 freeway and our room was directly next to it. The traffic was pretty loud.

Update: After the review, I was refunded for the parking because of the experience I had. Because of this I changed my review from 2 stars to 5 stars.
Negatives:
Bed had pee stains from previous visitor. Didn't feel comfortable my first night. After finding out it was worse the second night after pulling out the bed sheets, we had asked to get our rooms changed, and it was very inconvenient moving everything over. I am upset that there was no discount or anything for the inconvenience of this. It was basically a "sorry, let me get you another room." If I was the owner or management and found out this happen, I would offer at least 10% off or waive the parking fee which comes out to be $25 a night, so it would've just been $50.
