The location is perfect. Its a beautiful property right on Mother's Beach. Besides the gorgeous scenery, beach and pool my favorite part is Beachside Reastaurant which is onsite. Hotel employee are the best servers/bartenders ever!Very personable attentive

The heating/air conditioning system was so noisy, it keep us up most of the night. I called customer service at 6:30 in the morning but they said the engineers were not in. No one ever responded to us. $---per night a joke

Great location - I always use this hotel for my first night in LA after a long flight due to its low cost and proximity to LAX. The view out over Mother’s Beach are great and the pool and garden area are lovely.

The staff were amazing, especially Jason the valet and the lady who checked us in. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, as were were the wait staff in the restaurant. Room was big and comfortable.
Negatives:
The only thing I strongly disliked was the sliding door on the bathroom. Sliding doors have gaps and don’t provide privacy. Ours had a huge gap. I know this is a style choice but we have stayed nearby in the past and it was the same thing - wondering why this part of LA can’t have an actual door for their bathroom? So weird (not everyone is travelling with their partner).

Not even a small bottle if water was for free on the arrival day!!! That’s a shame!
We payed more than $300 for one night.
I went to the fitness room and trained there for more than an hour. There was no water there as well! So I went to the reception and asked for water. The lady was just repeating “ the fitness room is closed” !!!! And did not give me the bottle for free as well! I have never had such an unfriendly and unpleasant experience at any hotels!
I was like: are you even listening to me??? I trained there, and there was no water!
I will never stay here again!
A cafe maker is in the room with just two caps….
( and two decaf )
How about offering more coffee caps in the room?!

Rooms are very clean and very comfortable and staff were very helpful in getting us into a room asap after a long haul flight across the pacific .

I paid for a room with a balcony. I didn't get one and was told I wouldn't get one even if I waited. It took 20 minutes to get hot water from the shower. Room service never picked up the phone. Also tried express check out from the phone and that didn't get picked up either. Will never stay here again.
