Negatives:
People who aren’t familiar with amenity fees and California’s tourism tax might be surprised at checkout, although they're not a lot. When I stayed there in 2025, the additional amenity fee was $35 per day, and parking cost $65 per day, which is reasonable. The hotel should find a clearer way to explain this to guests when we arrive, as it seems the staff were tired of addressing it during check out.
When I requested the missing shower mat after returning at night, I was given a one labeled "discarded linen." Also, chipped plates at Jane Q restaurant need to be replaced. Finally, the front desk promised to send the invoice to my mailbox, but I never receive it.

We were charged $35 additional per day for amenities and did even receive wifi for our entire stay. Had to request coffee to be brought to the room. Felt like you had to request things that should be a basic in a hotel. Rooms were clear, but nothing special.
