This is one of LAs iconic hotels but is nearly 50 years old. Mindblowing elevator rides, but somewhat disorienting lobby to find the correct one. Rooms clean and well furnished but after rainstorm we found leakage from fixed windows.

Great weekend stay for a...
Positives:
Wonderful downtown LA location that was walking distance from a conference I was attending. The facility is iconic but even after decades feels new. Just riding the elevators as they rise up into the sky with the cityscape is fun. Staff was very good. Rooms exceptionally spacious and comfortable.

We loved everything about our stay! The staff was amazing! The gift shop was open late and had snacks, drinks and many other items you may have forgotten to pack. The valet parking was excellent. Can’t say enough good things!
