Nothing fancy, decent value. It is advertised as including breakfast, when in fact it was just a couple small boxes of cold cereal, carton of milk and a fruit cup in the fridge.

The single driveway left us stranded both mornings. The first day, a FWD vehicle was stuck and was blocking the driveway. Day 2, a pickup crashed into another car in the driveway and blocked the exit. The heater sounded like a jet taking off, which was less than ideal when trying to sleep

Positives:
The Inn is a very clean, basic, well located (for town/dining/retail/etc) activities, and quite close to the ski area. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and keep the facility in fine condition. Again, keep expectations in line - a basic, but fully functional and clean accommodation.
Negatives:
Perhaps updating of facilities such as toilets, beds, etc. Not that the equipment was not functional, clean, useable, but it is showing its age.

Negatives:
The Customer service was horrible. Horrible. Horrible. They were not understanding or considerate at all. I asked to cancel they didnt allow it so I asked them to change my dates due to a storm coming and knowing that this season the storms have been quite intense at Mammoth and sometimes the roads close. Other hotels have been very understanding and accommodating. But not them. Wanted to save money but in the end regretted it. Save your self a head ache and pay a little extra and stay somewhere else!

Positives:
Not a very good selection, it consisted of your choice of a cup of Frosted Flakes or a refrigerated package of 2 very small pancakes and a small selection of granola bars also a few individual containers of white and chocolate milk.
Negatives:
The smell of Pinesol wafting throughout the tiny room and the whole building. The sheets looked like they were clean but there were blood stains on them! The Bathroom had mold all around the bottom of the shower glass and door enclosure and I'm not sure what was on splattered around on the bathroom walls, but they needed a good cleaning as well.

The Motel 6 that I stayed in back in the mid 90s was a nicer room than the one at the Mammoth Inn...
Negatives:
The glass to my room fell through and glass broke all over the bathroom floor. I stepped on glass and got a couple glass wounds. I addressed these problems with the host and all that was said was that i would be put in a different room. I didn't feel that the host took into consideration the seriousness of the situation. I was able to get a refund but did leave feeling a complete lack of empathy.
