Positives:
Absolutely breathtaking location. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, and we were so close to the ocean we could feel the waves thudding through the room. The fireplace added the perfect cozy touch, though it would be nice to have an option to turn it fully off. We loved all the dog-friendly perks — the stick library, easy beach access, and how genuinely welcoming they were to pets. Full room service, including in-room dining, was a great convenience. They also made us feel special for our anniversary with flowers, dessert, champagne, and a card, though it was addressed only to “Mrs.” rather than to both of us. Room service was impressively quick, pickup was prompt, and the staff was very friendly.
Negatives:
The noise was a major downside. Doors slammed constantly, walls rattled, and both sets of neighbors during our three-night stay were extremely loud. We often had to keep the sliding door shut. Morning maintenance was also noisy starting at 8 AM. The food was overpriced and underwhelming — the $27 continental breakfast included only toast, fruit, and juice (coffee extra). Overall, the noise and food quality made it difficult to fully enjoy the stay. We have no photos to share because we were cranky.
