Positives:
we had a wonderful stay! service was top notch & the grounds were so well kept. we enjoyed the nightly beach bonfires & the hot tub/pool area was exceptional. the breakfast basket deliveries were so convenient & delicious. the rooms were clean & well kept, but the bathrooms were dated. nothing beats the location & the beautiful ocean & nature just outside our door. we enjoyed daily whale watching from our room & the beach outside! we had a lovely time.
Negatives:
we went to the Salt Wood restaurant on a Tuesday night & found the food & service a bit mediocre for the amount of money we paid.
Review
A beautiful whale-watching retreat right...
Positives:
Bed/pillows weren’t very comfortable.
Negatives:
Beds/pillows need upgrade for the price of this stay.

Positives:
Liked that my request for a room with a view of the beach and the sea was provided.
Liked that my request for microwave and refrigerator was provided.
Liked the room was a suite.
Negatives:
Wished that the room be vacuumed and tidied each day given the sand around the property.
There were ants in the sink/kitchen area.
Restaurant rates were pricey.

I hope to visit again.
Positives:
The ocean, the beach, the views are great. Good bed. Friendly welcome from the golf cart guy who brought us to our room.
Negatives:
The pricetag is way too high. This is not a premium resort, rather a timeshare with very nice ocean views. The pool infrastructure is from a 2 star hotel. The receptionists were not friendly, neither helpful. They told us the room was not going to been cleaned due to covid staff shortage (april 2022…). Overal not the quality you expect from a “sanctuary resort” with a heavy price tag.
Review
Great ocean, very mediocre hotel.
Positives:
Location, that’s it.
Negatives:
I paid $1200/night, which is a high price point for room with dated furniture. But what was most disappointing was the window closest to my bed was broken, I was looking forward to listening to the ocean while falling asleep/waking up. The only other window was right next to where my son was sleeping on the pull out sofa, or the patio door. Neither were ideal. The shower had mold in the grout, and the bathroom door was SO NOISEY. $1.2k per night and you guys have a couch cover hiding that disgusting sofa, don’t bleach the bathroom tiles, and no WD-40 for the bathroom door. It’s a joke. I could have booked at the four seasons in Oahu for half the cost.

Just because it’s a “panoramic...
Positives:
Large hot tub and pool, nightly bonfires. Food at the restaurant was amazing! Cozy robes
Negatives:
Very expensive and no daily room cleaning.

Beautiful beachfront resort
Positives:
The sunset was the best part of staying there but I could have seen that anywhere nearby.
Negatives:
Incredibly overpriced. Paid over $700 for a one night stay and I felt like I was in a college dorm. The person in the room above us sounded like a toddler from My 600 Pound Life. I have never heard someone walk soooo loudly in my life. There was no point complaining because it was just the way they walked. I woke up at 3am because they were walking to the bathroom. And again, at 6am, because the stairwell from the unit above us was *directly* above my bed. So, yeah, super noisy and overpriced. Maybe they can try soundproofing the units a bit more. The photos were misleading too because I assumed we would have a private villa and not be sharing the building with two other units. Also, I definitely got athlete's foot (yuck) from the bathroom shower. So, hopefully they scrub the showers down a bit more for guests in the future. Overall, it was mediocre. The staff was nice and the beach was pretty, though.

Super overpriced.
Positives:
The location is perfect and the fact it is pet friendly.

It has some serious deferred maintenance.
