Negatives: our rooms not ready when we arrived, the inside door locks were broken, 2 of the ice machines were broken so no ice available, the phones red blinking light could not be turned off because they didn't know how to do it, it rained in our room

Positives: Walking distance to downtown Monterey and the wharf
Negatives: Rooms are very shabby. Although the room layout is great, the bathroom, bed and furnishings could use some TLC as everything looks worn and dated.

Positives: The location was great a quick walk to the pier. Front Staff were friendly.
Negatives: It was not clean as I expected.The comforter was dirty with chip stains and the restroom was not clean as well. The vent in the restroom was so easily noticeable. The caps for the fire extingusher were stained greenish like mold. I was not happy with that

Positives: This hotel was located close to fisherman wharf and the downtown Monterey district.
Negatives: Dirty hotel. I would not stay here again not ever. This hotel was filthy, dirty, and I did not feel comfortable here. Also, hotel was very noisy and had a lot of street noise. I have no clue how this hotel got a good satisfaction rating.

Positives: I loved the view and the patio, very nice scenery.
Negatives: Parking was too crowded in the garage and there was no parking at all. Cars were not parking properly and taking up too much space.

Negatives: Thin walls. We could hear our noisy neighbors. The hotel is generally dilapidated. It looks nothing like the pictures.

Positives: Location was the best thing about this hotel.
Negatives: Cleanliness of the room was not as good. Had a problem with one staff member who said I should have let the house keeping come in at cleaning time (COVID 19 makes me nervous of people coming in) because he was too busy to bring me a roll of toilet paper.

Positives: Initially the staff was not very friendly or responsive, but when we went back to them with a problem, they were great and did everything possible to make our stay a good experience. The location is good, walking distance to many restaurants and sights.
Negatives: We opted for a luxury king suite. The little things that say luxury were missing - not even sugar or creamer for the room. The rooms are old and the furniture is so dirty with obvious stains. There was a pole right in front of the bathroom door!
