Positives:
Very clean. No carpet. Good quality toiletries & towels. We had an ocean view room that was great. Staff was pleasant. We received free drink vouchers for the bar that we used in the evening.
Negatives:
There was construction going on. Did not find easy access to the beach. Could have used an extra blanket available in the room. The free drink was very nice touch but it was only for house beer or wine and the wine was not good.

$40/day charge for parking in their lot. "Destination" fee for water bottles, "free" drink vouchers, etc. Shower water was warm at best... Wanted to swim, pool was closed. Ice bucket, but no glasses??? No coffee maker.

I loved the new updated rooms and the view was awesome! Bed was super comfortable and the beach access was great!
Negatives:
Construction everywhere! My husband almost got hit in the head from something flying off of the roof. Also, we had to take the elevator up 3 floors just to get off, and then have to take the stairs to get down to our 2nd story room. The whole thing felt unsafe with construction everywhere and things being taped off. The staff was also not very welcoming or helpful whatsoever. When we checked out we weren't even told thank you for your stay or anything similar.

Room was nice and had great view after we paid to upgrade from first floor to third. Bar on 4th floor was nice with a view and fireplace. Liked shades for window.o
Negatives:
Construction on hotel everywhere. Had to take elevator to fourth floor then carry luggage down two flights of stairs to get to our room. No coffeemaker in tje room. Unsafe conditions with all the construction. Beach was not raked or cleaned by hotel so garbage was in the sand and dog poop. Hotel charged 40.00 a night to park where construction workers also were parking. Makeshift lobby was less than inviting. Yellow tape everywhere and not even sure if pool was open.
