The property is not being maintained, like it was in the past. The refrigerator was not plugged in, had to call maintenance since it was not easy to get to. Toilet didnt flush properly.

We got a pet room and it was nice to find a welcoming place for our dog, we had a room with screen door to the outside. The Front office staff was nice and helpful as were the maintenance and cleaning staff. It was nice that they offered breakfast to go bags in the morning. The location is also good you can walk to beach and it's a close drive to the main eating and shopping areas.
Negatives:
Our room had a fireplace and the room smelled like gas, maintenance turned off gas from outside and it was much better! the screen door was in need of repair and the curtains were unhooked in a few places. Just taking a few minutes to fix things would go along way.

They dont clean the hotel every day. The hotel is in a desperate need of a renovation. The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were uncomfortable.

It was a lovely location walking distance to the coastal path. The room was spacious and well equipped clean and comfortable. We also took our dog.

The rooms are absolutely lovely! Weve stayed in a lot of lodges and this was by far the nicest one, it didnt feel like a classic lodge at all in the room. The decor is nice, the rooms are huge and the facilities were great. Really pleasant.
We arrived at night and our GPS took us into a side road (Monarch Lane) which was very confusing - however we realised the entrance was on the main road so ignore your GPS if you have to!
It says no breakfast but they do provide little breakfast bags which was quite nice (juice, muffin, tangerine and apple)
