We book the Quality Inn in Palm Springs at least one month ago. When we arrived there, the hotel was no longer a Quality Inn and did not accept our reservation. This left us virtually stranded in Palm Springs. You even sent us a reminder the day before

I stayed at this hotel 3+ years ago and regrettably nothing has improved but declined overall. Here we go. No hot water, dirty carpet, walls need scrubbed Lobby entrance door busted and finally found working ice maker after 3 attempts on several floors

This was an unexpected stay due to a late arriving flight. We arrived around midnight and the front door was locked but there was a sign to call a number and the man came out relatively quickly. Quiet and easy parking.
Negatives:
The room on average was clean but there was splattered food on the curtains (BBQ sauce). The lobby felt austere. No fan in the bathroom. Not enough places to put 4 suitcases.

It had old outdated furniture. It was dirty, stained.

The hotel is located close to Downtown Palm Springs, making it nice to walk around and explore. Several restaurants and shipping nearby. A Grocery Outlet across the street made it very convenient to buy water and such since the hotel doesn't offer this.

There were a few things that I didn't like about the hotel. The main pool wasn't heated but the hot tub was, thank god! There was no breakfast or coffee served in the lobby but offered coffee in the rooms. But I don't trust how clean those coffee makers are. The room felt very dated. The furniture was old but lucky I guess I had a fridge in my room. My room was 216 and it wasn't as clean as it could be. The bathroom light has some mystery splatters on it that I took a bleach wipe and cleaned myself. You can see where maintenance tried to repair or paint something but didn't do it right. It was like putting lipstick on a pig! The bathroom vent was dusty and it appears that housekeeping hasn't cleaned it in a LONG time! The carpet is dated and I wouldn't walk barefoot in my room. If they replaced the carpet with hardwood, the room would feel a million times cleaner. My shower head was horrible. I hope they show this property some love.
