Exceptional
Positives:
There was honestly not much that I liked. We checked in late at night, around 11pm, and the overnight security guy checked us in and was very kind.
Negatives:
I've discovered a trend in Palm Springs where old motels from 60 years ago are haphazardly "updated," and that's what this one is. Luckily we were not one of the people who found mold on the walls or bugs in our bed, but the quality of the room was unacceptable for the price or maybe even for humanity. Paint chipping, a broken chair, unclean shower, a big kick dent in the bathroom door. I felt dirty staying there and I still feel dirty a month later!
I'd say only consider this place if you're on a budget, but even then, the prices were very high. This shouldn't be more than $60/night based on the quality of the rooms, or if you absolutely have to crash somewhere for one night then it's probably acceptable. Show up late, go right to sleep, wake up early and leave. It's not a place to "stay" in palm springs.
I wasn't looking for the "beach club vibe" but you should know there is no "Beach Club" it's just a regular weird pool behind the motel. It's also quite loud - you can hear through the walls pretty easily.
Motels like this should not be allowed to operate. There have got to be some health codes being violated and it's a huge rip off.

Great trip
Positives:
Reasonably clean; comfortable for the price. Good bed.
Negatives:
Furnishings are very old and appear to have been thrown together just to get a minimum needed for the room.
While there was a table for use as a desk, the ancient wire chair provided was not acceptable/very uncomfortable.

Good
Positives:
Place was clean. Very basic. Toiletries supplied. No hair dryer, coffee maker or microwave, only a small fridge that froze everything. Coffee was available in the lobby. No housekeeping was done during our 3 day stay.
Negatives:
Plumbing fixtures. Toilet was new and good. Shower had no handle to pull when using the shower. No working plug for the bath.

Location was ok, place was...
Positives:
Great location right on the main strip. Check-in was quick and the staff friendly. Room seemed recently updated and was clean and comfortable.
Plenty if restaurants and bars within walking distance. The pool area looked very inviting but we didn't get the chance to use it.
Water pressure in the shower was like a fire hose in the best way.

Perfect for a short stay.
Negatives:
Old outdated even for the value.
Show was broken, so is one of the lights.

Nothing
Negatives:
Everything. Pool was ran down, old, tacky, furniture was falling apart. Pool not heated so it was like ice on a 78 degree day. Pool lounge chair covers were not swapped out after each use so you’re literally sharing with strangers. Gross and disgusting. Seems like a health code violation. The fake grass at the pool was torn and tacky. Never brought us pool towels. Bath towels are so small they wouldn’t wrap around my body and I’m a size 6. Hotel room was on the first floor by ice machine and it got so loud at 7am. Door to room had huge crack at the bottom. TV wouldn’t really work so I turned it off. Remote missing back cover. Didn’t leave us enough towels. Make sure to bring your own everything including soap to wash hands. Just see the pictures. This hotel was $365 for one night. That should be a crime. Sick was clogged with I don’t know what. We couldn’t wait to check out.

Worse hotel ever. Pictures are...
Positives:
We liked the retro-industrial decor of the room, especially the wall lamps which had Edison bulbs, instead of the ugly bluish fluorescent bulbs that are in many hotel rooms, also you can turn on/off each individual lamp. Mattress was good, not hard, not soft.
Negatives:
The bed was very close to the wall, so that I had to shimmy to get in and out. It seems like the room may have had two beds before and they didn't want to rewire for the plugs and lamps to fit the king size headboard, so it ended up very close to the wall. They room has barebones amenities: no iron or board, no coffee maker, no hair dryer, no microwave. The room does have a mini fridge and they did give us a hair dryer to use, and there is coffee in the office in the AM (no breakfast though).
