It was a Ramada that was recently renovated and rebranded to a Holiday Inn. One of the windows facing the street did not have a window covering of any kind, and the swimming pool was extremely small.

In Redding in what I thought was a good location.
Negatives:
When I went to bed that evening, my side of the bed had two dried spots of blood.
In the morning, I opened the closet and there were two plastic dry cleaning bags with hangers.
The bed pillows looked nice and the coverlet. The sheets obvious were not clean. Disgusting!

This hotel seemed like a remodeled Ramada Inn. The door to our room looked like it was pried open at one point.. the towels were gross and seemed dirty, there was a dead cockroach by the fridge, the fridge was stained and dirty, and the hot tub was concreted over (weird).
