Similar hotel chains offer a complimentary breakfast while you charge 8.99 for the same breakfast. Not a deal breaker but a bit disappointing.
The small bars of soap. I understand that is to reduce waste but if you would at least leave more than one bar of soap.

There was splats of blood in walking shower and room was haunted sink water kept turning on also the floor is no being mopped i had brand new white socks on and i just walked shoeless for a few seconds and my socks were dirty.

The staff was very friendly and my room was clean and quiet. I picked this place because it had a restaurant. I noticed a nice pool and gym and the property is large and quite nice. I arrived after an eleven hour drive and they got me to my room and gave me a 15% off coupon for dinner. The dinner was fantastic, and the bartender, Jeff was a breath of fresh air. They had security for the parking lot.
Negatives:
It's an old hotel with a lot of charm - it's a great property, but it needs a facelift. Although my room was clean. the surrounding areas were not so clean. The carpets needed vacuuming and there was a lot of peeling paint. With some updates, this hotel would be the crown jewel of the Top of the Hill area. I hope it happens.
