The location is very convenient: It is 20 mins from the Sacramento airport by a public bus. It is also around 20 mins on foot from the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center
The buffet breakfast is amazing the staff is really welcoming.
Negatives:
The streets near the hotel did not feel completely safe at nights. But this is more of a city problem than a problem with the hotel. If you are sensitive about this you might want to look into places closer to wherever you want to visit. Otherwise, great accommodation.

Location was great. We walked anywhere we needed to go--all downtown. I was very comfortable. Breakfast was a good value. My only complaint: the coffee at breakfast was not good and I really look forward to coffee in the morning so that really needs to improve. Staff was very helpful, courteous, professional. thanks.

Because I used Bookings.com instead of IHG website to book my room, 4 months in advance, IHG had the option to give up my room. And they did. They gave up my 2 bed room for a 1 bed. This was a mini vacation getaway for my daughter and I. I was very unhappy about that. Another thing I was not satisfied with was I paid a lot for a one night stay and I had to pay for parking. $30 for the parking lot or $20 for the parking garage behind the hotel. The all you can eat breakfast buffet was not worth the $20/person. There was only a handful of options.
