Our suite was inexcusably dirty.... There was a huge bleached stain right in front of the door. My son asked if someone had thrown up there. There were stains on the ceiling, the curtains were ripped and a contact lens was stuck to the nightstand. The room smelled like marijuana smoke.

DO NOT STAY HERE. If you dream of a relaxing, pleasant and wonderful experience, DO NOT waste your time and money here. If you want to get extra stressed, frustrated and anxious, then yes, this is the place to go.
It took almost 2 hours after check in before I was given a key to my room. The entire time, I had to squeeze myself in an overly crowded lobby that does not have enough seats to accommodate people. It was an absolute anxiety filled experience.
- I checked in at 3:45 pm and was told that I would get a text message at 4:00 pm once housekeeping finishes cleaning our room.
- At 4:20, still no text, so I followed up with the front desk. I was told, "housekeeping has not finished cleaning your room, give us 5 minutes." I tried my best to be patient and waited for another 40 minutes (as opposed to the 5 minutes that she told me).
- At 5:00 pm, still no update and no room for us! I went back to front desk and a front desk lady who is very annoyed, very demeaning raised her tone at me and said "I can't give you an estimate time on when housekeeping would finish. I am not housekeeping and I don’t know when they will finish!!!"
- At 5:40, I was very tired, anxious, stressed out and was running veeeeerrrry late to an afternoon engagement so I had to basically beg for a room to be assigned to us. It wasn't until then that we got a room.
Yes, it was a busy day because there was a basketball game that night. The hotel staff is not trained to handle a busy day which is upsetting because they are closest to Golden 1 Center. I have to highlight too that there were people who checked in waaay after me, wearing their basketball team uniforms and they immediately got their rooms. Since I am not VIP, nor a part of any of the basketball teams' crews and staff, they made me wait almost 2 hours before I got assigned a room.
SUCH A MISTAKE to book this hotel for our 20th wedding anniversary.
