The room was a little warm, after turning on the AC it would just blast cold air towards the bed and not cool down the room. When we would turn off the AC the room was still very warm even after having the AC running.

I am a local Pastor who is very busy. I kept receiving telephone calls that I needed to rest. I really didn't feel like traveling and getting on a plane. So I decided to stay local at the Westin, and my granddaughter came along with me. It was so refreshing and peaceful. I didn't realize how tired I was until my head hit the pillow. The bed was so comfortable that I slept all day.
Negatives:
My balcony, I can look at the boats as they stroll down the river. Also, the water fountains were amazing.

That there was no trashcan to dispose of garbage when coming in with a coffee that I just finished, instead, I went all the way to the bathroom to throw it away. And maybe that I didn’t realize the water station was carbonated. Lol. And the pool it doesn’t seem like it’s heated.

The room was large and clean. The bathroom featured a clawfoot tub which was so nice! Our room was ready early and could not have been an easier check-in.

The front desk staff was rude by almost making me give my credit card as a hold plus charge me $200.00 deposit that I didn't know I would get back 5-7 business days. Once he found out that I had fully paid for the room and consistently showed email recipes, I was able to have access. I don't want this to feel like a racist thing, but I felt that because we were young black couples, I witnessed the difference from the treatment with a nice white couple before us. The suite also didn't come with free breakfast like most hotels with lowered standards would have, and the check-in is 4 pm, yet the dinner closes at 9 pm. I feel the check-in is just too late. McDonald's was ordered because it was the only place available.
