The location is great if youre prepared for everything downtown. The staff was amazing and overall everything was great. There is no ice machines but they bring it to you and it was so fast.

The hotel was very modern, and new, felt like a 4.5 star in many ways. The rooms were very nice, and the bathrooms beautiful. In the Gas Lamp area, so close to many restaurants and things to do. Beautiful lobby and accommodating front desk.

I really wanted to like this hotel. However our room was positioned right above the hotel bar. It was noisy with people partying till 2:30 in the morning. Then when I got up that morning to shower there was no hot water.

It was in a great location to walk around. The room was cozy and clean.

Clean and modern. Great city views from our small balcony. Lovely big bed and room service each day with fresh towels. Complimentary coffee in the lobby each morning and wine from 5-6 pm in the evening. Friendly, helpful staff.
Negatives:
Holding deposit of $100 per room per night for incidentals. $30 per room per night amenity fee which I think should have included a food voucher and complimentary water bottle but these were neither offered or materialised. One of the rooms wasnt available until 4:30 pm.

Parking is not included in the rates. The hotels valet service is US$ 60/day. The other parking facilities in the surroundings are expensive, too. Finding a parking spot on the street on your own can be stressful (especially if you are a tourist).

The beds were outstanding! So comfortable and loved the down comforters. The hotel was really cute and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The location in downtown San Diego made parking a major issue and there were tons of homeless people always in front of the hotel.
