Positives:
The hotel building was very nice. The interior looked new and modern. The staff members we encountered were friendly and efficient. Some of the rooms offer a great view of the bay although we had to pay extra to get one of those rooms.
Negatives:
Our room was overall very clean, but the bathroom gave out a musty-towel smell. Spraying air freshener couldn't get rid of it.

Negatives:
The only negative about our experience was the towels and bedding. I have seen better quality at a budget Best Western. Very thin and scratchy. Really a hotel this nice should be embarrassed about the poor quality.
Positives:
Very spacious and clean hotel with many amenities. Walking distance to the San Diego Padres stadium. Nice area outside for running and jogging.
Negatives:
I did have an issue with my keycard not working to exit or enter the parking garage. I had to press the help button for assistance to exit.

Negatives:
Endless Hidden Fees. $200 extra to send 3 packages via the UPS store. 30$/day Resort Fee that forces you to use their company store ($48 for a salad and 2 bottles of juice), $42 a day parking fee. The restaurant sells steak tips for $60. No room service.
