Great and comfortable. Location isn’t...
Positives:
This historical hotel’s location was just prefect! It’s charming, has lots of character and the staff is very helpful. For the first time ever, we received coupons for free cocktails at their beautiful bar. This gesture blew me away. My Old Fashioned was fantastic!!
Negatives:
The building was constructed in the 1800s so the wooden structure is not super quiet but it’s part of the charm.

Positives:
Amazing location. Great service. Cosy interiors. Welcome drink. No issues with leaving the bags for a few hours after checkout.

Room could have been bigger to comfortably store luggage etc.

Positives:
In the gaslamp area
Negatives:
Bedding needs comforters. Overnight Parking is $59 per night which is overpriced and they tried charging us double. I had to come back to the desk to correct the charges.

There are better places in...
Positives:
It's an old hotel with charm, and the entire experience was painless. The staff accommodated our request for a minifridge, and they were helpful overall.
Negatives:
It's an old hotel, so it's going to be a little janky. Even so, some of the carpeting could be replaced (like on the staircase to the right of the entrance), and there are some doorframes and railings that could use a fresh coat of paint. All that said, the wear and tear gives it some (minor) charm.

Nice central location in the Gaslamp
Negatives:
It's a very old building, with low water pressure and mustiness in the rooms. You can hear noise and footsteps from room above
