The room was okay and in a decent location. Not in Miramar like it says. It's in Rancho Penasquitos which is a lot further north than Miramar. Very misleading.
Negatives:
While we were loading the car right before check out, I went back into the room to do a final walk through and there was a staff member in the bathroom. We hadn't notified the front desk that we were leaving and we still had two hours before checkout time. I immediately turned around and walked out and went straight to the front desk. They never said anything about why someone would've been in the room and didn't seem to care that he went in there before we checked out. Very scary situation for a woman to be in a hotel room with some strange man in the bathroom and not even knowing he was in the room. Also there was some weird lockbox IN THE SHOWER CEILING. You could only open it with a key. It was in the ceiling. I have never seen anything like this in my life and it makes you wonder what's in there. Camera maybe?

Toilet was dirty!!! poop still in the toilet! The shower had a shampoo that was broken off the wall, small hairs in the shower, walls in the bathroom had yellow dripping down and looked dirty. Made us question if the bed was even changed from last guest. Felt grossed out after using the bathroom.
