Front desk staff was amazing (especially Ian). They were very welcoming and attentive — and it felt genuine.
Negatives:
I understand it was an older hotel, but the rooms were worn but I think attentiveness to cleanliness can help offset this (stained carpet and couches, mattress pad for requested crib also had some staining/discoloration), the walls and outlets had random marks/debris that would wipe off (ie like sauce stains on the wall). I don’t think the high chairs in the common area were ever wiped down.
