The location is amazing! Very walkable to Gaslamp/nightlife. Would be the perfect spot if you're going to an event downtown. The hotel is decent. Friendly staff. Better priced than most in the area. Our king sized bed was comfortable and clean. The room has air conditioner, TV, free WiFi, and cute little amenities like a free reusable water bottle (with water fill station in lobby), and real glassware for cocktails and coffee. You get a complimentary cookie/beverage upon check-in.
Negatives:
As with most places downtown, there's no parking, but there is a pay lot on the next block that had reasonable rates for the time we were there (Fri night - $20/24 hours). Not bad for Gaslamp. *Beware of surge pricing for parking during events.* The tissues and toilet paper were chintzy. Our room was on the back side and we could hear street-noise and drunk people causing a ruckus outside until pretty late. I'm sure if you're in one of the interior rooms it would be better. No mini fridge to store leftovers or drinks. I REALLY WISH THEY HAD A HOT TUB.

The only thing about the place was you can hear pretty much everything especially if your room is towards the back of the building , we woke up to construction working, trucks , people yelling etc .

Good location at Gas Lamp. You get bike rentals for free. Environmental friendly.
Negatives:
Pricey and small room. Initially I got a room facing the street, which was extremely noisy even a 2 am. Managed to get another room towards the inside of the building.

The hotel is located in the center of the gaslamp district. It is very close to many restaurants and shops. Though the hotel has no parking, the near by parking lot was comfortably located and reasonably priced. The reception staff was super nice and helpful.
Negatives:
The room was very small. We were a family of 5 and used the pull out sofa bed. When the bed is open there is no free space in the room.
