The bathroom needed a revamp as it was a bit worn and not the cleanest. Theres only so much the housekeeping staff can do with old fixtures and fittings.
We had a room overlooking the road. The windows dont block out any noise whatsoever so early morning was very noisy.
Also, plumbing and noise/voices can be heard easily through the walls.

Well styled hotel, in a great location with good facilities. Very comfortable room. Close to travel connections and airport. Food was ok and free coffee was available in the mornings which was good! I travelled alone and felt welcome even though it was obviously a busy hotel with a lot going on.
Negatives:
Couple of things brought it down.
There is a location charge each night but they counter it by giving you credit in the hotel. It's also not obvious how to use the credit and had to ask more than once as it was explained to me differently each time. The other issue with this is the food wasn't amazing and if you don't drink it gets wasted which it did for me. I ordered eggs Benedict and the eggs were cold.
Also had an issue with my room TV and I'd spilt on the sheets some coffee, I made it obvious hoping it would be changed but sheets weren't changed they just remade the bed.

Better for a weekend than a long stay. But a very nice hotel.
